Gina Rossdale-Smith is the founder of Rossdales Neurocare and a Developmental Pediatrician with a special interest in ADHD, Autism and allied disorders. (General Medical Council Number 1727742 with a license to practice.)
“I qualified from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1974. After bringing up my young family, I entered Community Pediatrics and worked initially in the Guildford and Godalming areas as a School Doctor, and in later years I worked at Frimley Children’s Centre and Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. I retired from full-time work in the NHS in February 2014 and then worked part-time, allowing me time to develop my equine assisted therapy team of four horses and four ponies, as well as working for accreditation in well-being coaching and Neurolinguistic programming.
I am especially interested in assessing children and teenagers who have challenging behavior including ADHD, Autistic Spectrum and allied disorders. These challenging behaviors may be addressed by dietary manipulation, specific behavior modification, as well as medical intervention.
With parents’ permission, I enjoy working with local mainstream and special schools as well as local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Teams to provide a co-ordinated approach to patient care.”
